Since 2014, LeadAfrique International has been dedicated to nurturing a new generation of innovative and responsive leaders by providing them with leadership and soft skills through various initiatives. These include the Learning to Learn program, summer camps, the CR8TIFF Business Competition, and the newly launched BE FUTURE-READY CAMPAIGN.

Over the past 10 years, LeadAfrique has impacted the lives of over 100,000 students, teachers, and corporate entities, helping them to live their best lives every day.

The GOAL of this project is to rekindle love for learning among our children, who have unfortunately lost their enthusiasm for education. We need to change that by getting at least 2 million JHS & SHS students to develop a passion for learning before December 2027.

Author Alvin Toffler once said, "The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn." This sentiment is echoed by the World Economic Forum, which lists Active Learning and Learning Strategies among the top ten skills of the future.

Achievements So Far
From September 2022 to December 2022, we have been able to collaborate with some key stakeholders (Presbyterian Education Unit, Pentecost Social Services and Compassion International) within the educational ecosystem and many other individuals through cash donations and in-kind supply to expand our reach to as many schools as possible.

Immediate Project Target
Our project target is:
• Equip 1,100 students and teachers with active learning and teaching skills through a series of monthly capacity building sessions for a period of 8 months.
• Raise in excess of 100,000ghc to implement the project across many other poor and peri-urban schools in Ghana.

If these children are to become Ghana's future leaders, we must teach them to unlearn, relearn, and learn, thereby transforming the trajectory of our nation's story.

Our Approach is to:
• Conduct 36 training sessions for Junior High School students across 6 schools within Accra from May to December 2024
• Conduct 18 teacher training workshops across 6 schools in Accra from May to December 2024
• Support 100 teachers of schools with persons living with disability with active teaching and personal development skills from May to December 2024

Ghana can and will rise again through our collective efforts. No single person can change this nation; it requires all of us working together to build our motherland, starting with equipping our students with active teaching and learning strategy skills.

We invite you to join this campaign. Let us come together as citizens of Ghana to make our nation great and strong. A contribution of GH₵5.00 a day for 8 months, paid as a one-time donation or regularly, can make a difference. As a business, you can contribute a minimum of GH₵150.00 per month for 8 months or more.

Thank you and be blessed beyond measure.
